Originally delivered to the RAF in 1955 as an F4. Subsequently transferred to the Royal Navy in 1962. Fitted with a Harley light in the nose and joined FRU at Hurn 1970, later to Yeovilton and FRADU. Crashed into the sea off Portland Bill on May 16,1983, having suffered an engine failure at low level, the pilot ejecting successfully.
