This Lynx took the skies for the first time as a HAS3S on 23 Aug'88. It was delivered to the Royal Navy on 7 Sep'88. The Lynx was later modified to HAS3CTS and then to HMA8 (as pictured). Resignated after modifications to HMA8SRU. The helo was withdrawn from use on 23 Mar'17 and stored at RNAS Yeovilton. It was moved to Middle Wallop on 11 Apr'17 and cannibalized. In May'18, the Lynx was offered for Foreign Military Sales. Then it was seen stored at St.Athan in early 2019. Sales were not succesfull, so the Lynx was moved to Hayward and Green Aviation at Woodmancote for preservation by Nov'19.

Resignated after modifications to HMA8SRU. The helo was withdrawn from use on 23 Mar'17 and stored at RNAS Yeovilton. It was moved to Middle Wallop on 11 Apr'17 and cannibalized. In May'18, the Lynx was offered for Foreign Military Sales. Then it was seen stored at St.Athan in early 2019. Sales were not succesfull, so the Lynx was moved to Hayward and Green Aviation at Woodmancote for preservation by Nov'19.

This special Black Cats paint Lynx madse its first flight as a HAS2 on 23 June 1980 and was delivered to the Royal Navy on 23 July 1980. It was later converted to HAS3, and then modified to more difficult designations as HMA8DSP, HMA8ACS, HMA8DAS (as pictured) and eventually to HMA8SRU.
