This 727 was originally delivered to Kuwait Airways/State of Kuwait in September 1980 as 9K-AFA and served as a VIP transport. After the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait it was commandeered for use by the Iraqi Government before being returned in February 1991. Al Futtooh Investments Co. acquired the aircraft in March 2000 as N169KT followed by Strong Aviation in April 2012 as M-FTOH.
