Delivered as a Do-28D-2 to the German Air Force in 1973 as 5850. It became D-IDRC registered Dec-1993, and in Mar-1994 it was registered as HA-ACL. In Oct-1998 it was converted to a Do-28G-92 with two Walter M-601 turboprops replacing the Lycoming IGSO-540 piston engines. On 02-Jan-2000 it was badly damaged in a landing accident at Sherburn-in-Elmet but it was rebuilt and flying again early 2003. In Jul-2008 it was registered as EC-KTC.
