A68-197, which was used for photo reconnaissance in RAAF service, was earmarked for a civilian aerial survey career. That never happened and it fell into disrepair. In the 1970s it received a RR Dart engine but never flew with it. Instead it was exported to the US and restored as TF-51 N50FS for astronaut Frank Borman This photo was added on 4 February 2019, and has since been viewed 802 times. |
