Soon after Bleriot made his first crossing of the English Channel, the Humber motor car company obtained a licence to build the aircraft in the UK at Coventry and one was imported from France and a further twelve were built. The first appeared in 1910 powered by a 30Hp three cylinder Humber engine based on the Anzani design. The engine on this replica is original.
