Built in May 1940 as a DST (Douglas Sleeper Transport) NC25685 for American Airlines, fitted with right hand pax door. Served USAAF 1942/44 as C-49E 42-56104. Returned to AA. Modified as DC-3A with left-hand door. Served PBA from 03.70 until 1991, latterly on schedules from Miami to Naples and Key West. Stored in 2010.
