This 1941 Taylorcraft was first registered NC36422, which it still carries above the starboard wing, later N36422. In 2013 it came to Australia, being registered with RAAus as 24-8808 on 3 April, but only briefly. For some reason, a month later on 10 May it was re-registered 24-8422.
