The beautiful condition of this aircraft belies its age - it was manufactured in 1956 and briefly wore the US registrations N11B and N4637A. That same year it was exported to Australia, becoming VH-MZK(1) on 4 April. In 1960 it was re-registered VH-MZR before resuming its original registration in February 2002 (there having been two other VH-MZKs in the meantime).
