This aircraft was built in 1956 as a Cessna 182, registered N5637B. In 1960 it was exported to Australia, becoming VH-CDV on 20 January. On 1 February 1963 it was re-registered to VH-CDI. At some more recent time it was converted to a taildragger Cessna 180-lookalike and given this magnificent colour scheme.
