This 1978 Metro was one of three delivered to Lineas Aereas Privadas Argentinas, the first private airline in Argentina to be able to compete with the government owned Aerolineas Argentinas and Austral Airlines. The Metros were sold in the USA and Inland Empire Airlines leased all three in November 1979. This one went to Britt Airways when Air Chaparrall (who had absorbed Inland Empire) ceased operations. The aircraft was recently with Carson Air in Canada as C-GKLN from 2007 - 2017. This photo is copyright © Gary Vincent, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
