'Bombers for Britain. Glendale became a staging area for the shipment of Lockheed Hudsons. They were flown out of Burbank after testing and landed at Glendale for processing by Babb Co as sea cargo.' This early Hudson is in full British markings - N7220 is its RAF serial. This airframe was eventually converted into a VIP transport. It was used by the Dutch Communication Flight and crashed at Evere, Belgium in October 1944. Photo by: Ralph Johnston / Glendale Public Library
