This aircraft was the last airworthy C-82 in the world when I took this photo in 2003. A few years later it was flown to Hagerstown, Maryland, where it is on display at the Hagerstown Aviation Museum. Barely visible on the side of the aircraft are the TWA stripes it sported in the 1950's when it ferried spare engines around Europe. This photo is copyright © Ralph M.
