Formerly VH-UZJ "Kyilla" with ANA. Rushed into RAAF service at the outbreak of World War II. With the impending arrival of second-hand DC-2s from the US, it was returned to ANA in June 1940. A month after being delivered to the RAAF it landed with the brakes on resulting in accident shown in the photo. VH-UZJ remained in ANA service until December 19, 1948, when it undershot Mangalore aerodrome.
