A 3/5 scale replica of the unique Stipa-Caproni of 1932. Built in 1988 by Lynette Zuccoli and Aerotect Queensland, the replica uses a Simonini engine to drive a propeller blowing the air through the barrel-like fuselage. The replica made two short hops in October 2001, reaching an altitude of just 6m. The pilot reported the aircraft was very stable but it is not believed to have flown again. The accumulation of red dust in the photo seems to confirm that view.
