VH-ASU came to TAA from Qantas when TAA took over Qantas' Queensland operations. It had originally been built for the RAAF. TAA sold it to a cropdusting operator, Airfarmers, in Victoria in 1955. It continued as an agricultural aircraft, later registered VH-APJ, until withdrawn from use in 1964. Its fate after that is uncertain. One report says it was burnt and another says it became spare parts. Photo from: State Library of Queensland This photo was added on 13 July 2019, and has since been viewed 294 times. |
