Originally registered as YU-4413, it became Z3-4011 in Jun-1996 and in May-2017 it was reregistered as Z3-4017. The Vuk-T was developed by the Mašinski Fakultet Univerziteta u Beogradu (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Belgrade) as an advanced single-seat training glider. Series production was by Jastreb. The name Vuk means Wolf in English and that name was given because its characteristic sound resembles that of a howling wolf. The red logo on the fin is of Jastreb, the manufacturer.
