Kumanovo was a NATO helicopter base during the Kosovo War. The airfield became famous as on 09-June-1999 the Kumanovo Agreement was signed here by NATO and Yugoslav generals ending the Kosovo War. Here is a view of one of the NATO helipads. Behind it is the grass runway.

It was assigned D-ENMJ in Jul-1972, but this registration was not taken-up. It became F-BULA registered Jun-1973. In Oct-2003 it was registered EC-IRG and in Jul-2015 it became Z3-DCZ.

Built in 1999 it was registered in July as Z3-5006

Originally registered as YU-4374, it became Z3-4010 in Jun-1996 and in May-2017 it was reregistered as Z3-4016. The Vuk-T was developed by the Masinski Fakultet Univerziteta u Beogradu (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Belgrade) as an advanced single-seat training glider. Series production was by Jastreb. The name Vuk means Wolf in English and that name was given because its characteristic sound resembles that of a howling wolf. The red logo on the fin is of Jastreb, the manufacturer.

Built in 1980 as Yugoslav Air Force 53118. It later became YU-DFB and in Jun-1994 it was registered as Z3-DCC. In Oct-2017 it was reregistered as Z3-DAN.

This was originally registered in France in Dec-1984 as F-CFER. In Jun-2014 it was registered in Croatia as 9A-GVI and in May-2017 in North Macedonia as Z3-5006 where it made its first flight as such on 18-May-2017.

This Blanik was originally registered at an unknown date in Yugoslavia as YU-5328. In Jun-1994 it was registered in Macedonia as Z3-5002. All L-13s were grounded in 2010 after a wing spar failure. Only after an expensive modification they can fly again. However, Z3-5002 was cancelled but remains stored at Kumanovo as seen here.

After this registration was cancelled in Sep-1999 it was registered in Macedonia in Apr-2000 as Z3-DAB. The missing door and the platform above the main wheel indicate that it is used for para dropping.
