Originally with the Royal Air Force as MK959, this Spitfire was transferred to the Royal Netherlands Air Force in 1946 as H-15. After some work as an airfield decoy from the mid - 50s, the fighter was displayed on a pole at Eindhoven Air Base. In 1993 it was replaced with a fiberglass replica and the aircraft sold to the USA.
