This 1939 Spartan Executive was doing flight training with Polaris Flight Academy for the British government in the USA after December 1940. Taken on strength by the RAF in 1942, the aircraft was used by RAF Ferry Command for the duration of WWII. Returning to the USA in October 1945, it was operated by Texaco 1946 - 1956 and overhauled and upgraded by Spartan Aero Services in 1950. In 2018 RAF serials were reinstated and the classic was the Antique Reserve Grand Champion Silver Lindy winner at EAA Airventure 2019.
