This aircraft had been 01977 with the USMC. After a long civil career, including survey flying in Canada as C-FYED, it returned to the US in 1989. The basic livery seen in the photo is the one it wore in Canada, with the addition of US roundels and USMC titles. The former serial has been incorrectly painted as 09177.
