This aircraft was built for the US Navy as an N2S-3 Stearman, Bu 07711. After military service it became N5047V. In 1982 it came to Australia, becoming VH-AGR(4) on 7 April. It was re-registered VH-PUD on 29 December 1989. This photo shows the aircraft in a bright new colour scheme wearing its original Bu number.
