Originally US Navy bu 80525, this Tigercat had a second life as a fire fighter. It was registered N7629C to Cal-Nat Airways and Sis-Q Flying Services from the mid 60s to 1981 (when the tanker modifications were removed). Acquired by the Marine Corps Aviation Museum in 1981, the fighter was stored at Quantico, VA until 1991 after which it went through several owners until a major restoration was undertaken at Chino, CA during 2011 - 2014.
