The MD-11 was the last of the Douglas Commercial designs operated by KLM that started with the DC-2. Maria Montessori was delivered March 2, 1994 and flew it's last revenue flight on October 26, 2014. Flown to Bob Sikes Airport in Florida in December, the aircraft was broken up by 2016.
