VH-MCN was badly damaged in accident near Warburton, Western Australia, on October 26, 1989. It was removed from the register as damaged in January 1991 but it is not known if this was a consequence of the 1989 accident. Often when there is a prospect of repair, aircraft remain on the register while the damage is assessed.
