Maersk Air was a Danish airline that operated between 1969 and 2005. In 2001 the airline was caught in a cartel with SAS, which eventually led to the airline's sale in 2005 to the FL Group and merged into Sterling Airlines. This aircraft was newly delivered to Maersk in 1996 and flew with them for five years. After a career in Japan the plane is now in storage at San Bernardino (CA).
