Looks good but a false identity - never served with the USAF, being in fact originally RCAF C-119F 22118, assigned in 1953 to 436 Sqdn at Dorval. In 1956 during the Suez crisis used on UN shuttles between Italy and Egypt. Had enlarged radar nose fitted in 1957 and based to Downsview. Struck off RCAF charge 1965 but from 1969 operated as firebomber by Hawkins & Powers as N3559. Upgraded to Steward-Davis Jet-Pak spec in 1972 with J34 engine above fuselage and flown to Dover for preservation 10.91 This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
