When Slovenia gained its independence, the 15 Brigade of the Territorial Forces acquired helicopters on the civil market as the former Yugoslavia was still subject to an arms embargo. This was also the reason that the helicopters initially had a civil-looking colour scheme. This helo eventually became H2-31 and is still current.
