From CFB Gagetown (NB) this 403 squadron CH-146 Griffon took part in the Binghamton Air Show 2007.

This 1981 built helicopter is amog the first produced and thus one of the oldest Bell 412 still flying. It started its career in Australia as VH-XCF with CareFlight QLD before joining Heli Austria in May 2016. Swiss operator Lions Air chartered OE-XHT for the winter season 2016/2017 and based it at Sion, after which Heli Austria assigned it to a fire fighting contract in Spain. A couple of years ago, Heli Austria started to paint each of its helicopters in a unique color, and most wear a nicer layout like this all black color. At least 5 Bell 412's have so far been operated by Heli Austria.

Until recent, the Kern County Fire Department was relying on two fomer US Army UH-1's. With the introduction of this 2024 built Bell 412EPX in December of 2024, one of the old UH-1's nicknamed "Helicopter 408" (registered N408KC) was officially retired the same month. The KCFD operates out of Keene Heliport southeast of Bakersfield, California. It is believed that the 2nd UH-1 (registered N407KC), is still active and will be operated alongside the new state-of-the-art Bell 412, which is equipped with a DART "Fire Attack" water tank and snorkel.

Two of the eight CH-146 forming the Canada's KRWAU (Kosovo Rotary Wing Aviation Unit), initially set up by 408 sqn, and taken over by 430 sqn (Valcartier) mid-December 1999.

Wearing a civilian colour scheme but with a serial belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy (IRGCN). Cabin fully equipped for Emergency Medical Services operations. Attempts to further identify the airframe were not appreciated.
