Paramount Airways made its first flights in 5.87 from a base at Bristol Lulsgate to Malaga and Tenerife. The airline leased two MD83s, with two more added later, being the first in the UK with the type, also operating from Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Exeter, and Gatwick. Paramount became insolvent in mid-1989 and was wound up. G-PATA changed hands many times and was stored at Tucson as N305FA of Falcon Air Express in a black livery in 2013 This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
