A quiet time for this DC-9 that was delivered to Eastern Airlines June 25, 1968. Sold to Aeron Aviation Resources after Eastern ceased operations in January 1991, the aircraft was leased to Midway Airlines from July to November 1991. It was stored at Mojave CA until sold to Northwest Airlines in July 1992. Northwest flew it (except for a short two month storage storage at Marana, AZ in September - November 2008) into the merger with Delta Airlines, who finally withdrew it from service in January 2010.
