Ditched in Atlantic Ocean off New Smyrna Beach Apr 4, 1997 and recovered Apr 13, 1997. Restored by Collings Foundation and first flew Sep 22, 2003. Made wheels-up landing at New Smyrna Beach Sep 24, 2003 when right undercarriage leg failed to extend. Repaired and is currently active on the airshow circuit and undergoing off-season maintenance.
