The 42 Aéronavale F-8E(FN) air superiority fighters delivered from 1965 had increased wing lift and upgraded radar. From 1990, 17 were modified as F-8P (Prolongé), including this 12F example, but the last was withdrawn in late 1999. Now stored at Dugny having been on display outside the Musée de l'Air in the later dark grey finish This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
