In 1989 Stansted witnessed the unusual sight of three Super Sabres when they called in during their ferry flight fom Konya AB back to the USA after service with the Turkish AF. This F-100D was accompanied by F-100C 54-2091 (N2011M) and F-100F 56-3948 (N2011V); registered N2011U to Tracor Flight Systems of Mojave and later Global Aerospace but was reportedly destroyed at Livermore, CA on 4.6.08 This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
