Seen immediately before final breaking up, this Heron served various British airlines from 1955 and was bought by Channel in 11.68 after a period with BIAS/Sabena as OO-BIA. Substantial parts of the scrap including front fuselage were seen in the Staravia yard at Lasham later that month along with the remains of sisters G-AMUK, G-AOZM and G-APKV This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
