This Yak-40 Salon 2nd Class was delivered in August 1973 and operated by 36 SPLT. Around 1979/1980 it was converted into a target towing aircraft by WZL-3 (repair plant) at Radom but later reconverted to Salon 2nd Class. It was retired sometime before early 2002, used for spares and put up for sale. It has been preserved at Brzeznica since April 2005. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
