Pictured here as a dusk arrival onto rw08L. This 727 was originally delivered to Republic Airlines as N716RC in June 1980 and going on to fly with Northwest from October 1986. It joined Champion Air in November 2000 but after the company ceased operations in May 2008 the plane was retired to Marana. However, this wasn't quite the end of the story as it was ferried to Burbank in February 2010 to be VIP-converted but, unfortunately, this fell-through and the frame was subsequently scrapped.
