When Western New Guinea (Netherlands New Guinea) still was a Dutch colony, my uncle served there as a conscript marine. In 1957 he took this picture of an abandoned Japanese aircraft in the Indonesian forests. Considering the inline engine this is probably a Yokosuka D4Y.
