One of many Hungarian-built Let C.11 airframes that were later rebuilt as Yakovlev Yak-3 replicas, sometimes using original Yak-3 fuselages. This particular one was rebuilt as such by Garric Warbirds at Harlingen, TX during the early 2000s. It was sold to Jean-Luc Langeard and became F-AZLY in Nov 2002. On 29 Nov 2013 it was registered to Stephane Canu, who replaced its previous rather uninteresting Yakovlev prototype markings with these more vivid Soviet Air Force markings.
