Originally a Convair 340 with Lufthansa until converted to 440. To General Air (Germany) Apr 69. It then went to LACSA Jun 72 first as TI-1091C then TI-LRG. To Air Sunshine in June 77. To Ocean Airways Nov 79. To Air Resorts Airlines Sep 81. On 25 Aug 82 the aircraft collided with a mountain at 11700 feet near Wolf Creek Pass CO., while continuing VFR flight in worsening weather conditions. The aircraft was owned by National Flight Services, but operated by Air Resorts Airlines. The two crew survived the accident.
