You never know what you find at exotic airports and I was very pleasantly surprised with this one! A local aeroclub member told us that this is a full scale replica of the aircraft that Gunther Plüschow (a German explorer) used to land in the bay at Ushuaia in 1927. Even though it is a replica, the propellor is the authentic one from 1927! You can see the upper wings on the ground, this is so they don't break due to heavy snowfall.
