This DC-10 was originally delivered to Alitalia in May 1975 as I-DYND and then to PIA in May 1983. It is pictured here taxying out to rw18 in the morning for departure presumably, to JFK. The plane went on to CP Air in December 1985 and then Canadian in April 1987. From June 1991it had just over a year with VASP as PP-SON but the plane is perhaps best known as on its return to service with Canadian it wore the 'Spirit of Canadian / L'Esprit de Canadien' special scheme. Alas, all good things come to an end and in March 2000 it was retired, ferried to MZJ and eventually scrapped.
