This is an old Flying Tigers machine, first delivered as N808FT in July 1980 and then with Federal Express as N632FE after the merger. It went on to fly with Singapore Airlines (9V-SQV) and Korean Air (HL7401) before joining Northwest for the first time as N9401 in August 1987. A short spell with Southern Air Transport followed as N744SJ. It rejoined Northwest in May 1999 with this reg and flew until retirement from the fleet in December 1009. The frame was then ferried to Walnut Ridge (ARG), AR and scrapping had begun by Mach 2012. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
