This Dragon Rapide was owned by the Prince of Wales who became King Edward VIII in 1936. He abdicated in the same year to marry Wallis Simpson. The plane wore a bold red and blue livery. The photo source does not mention the owner but his pilot, Wg Cdr Edward 'Mouse' Fielden, appears in another shot.
