Delivered new 28th Jan 1991. China Airlines, flight CI140 departed RCTP for RJNA and during the appraoch the f/o inadvertently selected TOGA (go-around) mode and as the crew did not realise they tried to manually continue the approach but the aircraft stalled and crashed from 1800ft onto the runway and burst into flames. 7 out of 256 pax survived, all 15 crew died. 26th Apr 1994 This photo is copyright © LRS747, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
