The first prototype of the Fh 104 made an impressive Berlin - London - Paris - Rome - Bucharest - Warsaw - Stockholm - Berlin flight on 2 and 3 September 1938, apparently taking just over 24 hours. Siebel chief pilot Wolfgang Ziese was accompanied by radio operator Emil Seelig, mechanic Hermann Köbele and a passenger.
