Crop of photo 585015. The second prototype of the Fh 104 Hallore. The Arado Ar 96 advanced trainer behind the Siebel is unmarked, but looks genuine. It was also on display at the Brussels aero exhibition earlier in 1937. Many sources claim the Ar 96 first flew in 1938 but the first prototype, D-IRUU, was already around early in 1937. Africa flight calling at Moshi (Moschi in German spelling). The location is probably the current airfield, HTMS, as this is close to the town's railway station. Photo by: Joachim Näumann / Koloniales Bildarchiv / Frankfurt University

The first prototype of the Fh 104 made an impressive Berlin - London - Paris - Rome - Bucharest - Warsaw - Stockholm - Berlin flight on 2 and 3 September 1938, apparently taking just over 24 hours. Siebel chief pilot Wolfgang Ziese was accompanied by radio operator Emil Seelig, mechanic Hermann Köbele and a passenger. Photo from: Narodowe Archiwum Cyfrowe
