Imported to Australia in 1965 as VH-PAY. It first came to Lae in September 1970. Prior to that it flew with Davey Air Services, Dubbo. Tt was operated by C&B Chee Charters for a number of years from Lae to numerous small airstrips in the highlands. In 1974 it's registration was changed to P2-PAY when PNG became independent.
