Support aircraft for the Vimy replica NX71MY on its reenactment of the 1919 flight from the UK to Australia. Its arrival back at its base at Oakey was the last operational flight of an Australian military Nomad. Only ferrying and test flights followed. -408 had been delivered less than a year earlier. It is now held by the Army aviation museum at Oakey. This photo was added on 13 May 2020, and has since been viewed 614 times. |
