This aircraft was involved 30 years ago ( May 19 1978) in the airborne operation for the rescueing of hundreds of peoples who were held hostages by the Kantanga rebels in Kolwezi (Zaire) . It's the reason why she is named "ville de Kolwezi" and also wearing the 2sd Foreign Legion para regiment badge (2eme REP) .
